DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis play is comedy of manners written in Shangha
 i in 1931 whilst Noel Coward was recovering from a bout of influenza. The 
 play treats the audience to the wonderful humour of love and marriage in a
 ll its chaotic\, irrational unpredictability with the beautiful dialogue o
 f Noel Coward.\n\nElyot and Sibyl\, are on the first day of their honeymoo
 n in a beautiful hotel in Deauville\, France overlooking the Marina. Elyot
  is a divorced\, attractive\, worldly wise man who has lived life to the f
 ull in every sense. Sybil\, his new pretty wife\, is much younger\, sweetl
 y innocent\, deeply in love and believes that she can keep Elyot on the st
 raight and narrow.\nShe naturally assumes that his ex-wife was totally to 
 blame for the break up of their marriage.\n\nVictor and Amanda\, in the ad
 joining room\, are also on their honeymoon. Amanda is a divorced\, glamoro
 us\, woman of the world\, entirely opposite to her new husband\, Victor wh
 o is older\, stuffy\, stodgy and lacking a sense of humour. He is naive wi
 th assumptions and aspirational ideas for what their marriage must be. He 
 declares that he will take care of\nAmanda so that she forgets completely 
 about the cruelty her ex-husband displayed towards her\, a subject which p
