Two strangers exchange letters during World War II and a love story begins
Based on the real-life unlikely romance of Ken Ludwig’s parents. Jack, a military doctor stationed in Oregon, begins writing to Louise, an aspiring performer in New York, after a match-making nudge from their fathers. Jack hopes to meet Louise someday, but as the war continues it threatens to end their relationship before it’s even started. DEAR JACK, DEAR LOUISE is a touching, personal play that celebrates human connection amid hard times.
