Tell Me on a Sunday

Andrew Lloyd Webber and Don Black’s classic Tell Me on a Sunday is a one-woman show that charts the course of an English woman newly arrived in New York.

Filled with hope, she embarks on a journey to find success, friendship, and, naturally, love. However, as she navigates through the complexities of the city and her own worries, disappointments, and sorrows, she starts to question if she has been searching for love in the incorrect places.

Tell Me on a Sunday was expanded from its original Marti Webb TV special to become a whole evening’s entertainment and also featured five brand new songs written especially for the production.

Following the extended West End season, starring Denise Van Outen, the new production toured the UK, with a rotating roster of leading ladies (Marti Webb, Patsy Palmer or Faye Tozer).

Tell Me On A Sunday marks our first full length musical here at The Wharf.
